Maintaining

Since not too much changes from week to week (except of course the deals and coupons),  I have been maintaining my slow and steady climb back into frugal living.  I still haven't run out of toilet paper, paper towels or dish soap yet, and I FINALLY got an actual metal stockpile shelf!!  I was so happy when it arrived.  I got it through Amazon using the gift cards I earned using Swagbucks - so FREE!  My 11 year old son put the whole thing together for me and was very happy to arrange the goods I wanted on the shelf upon its completion.  He is one of my most enthusiastic supporters, and actually begs to be able to clip my printed coupons, lol.  I am still rolling my rewards from CVS to get my newspapers (pro-tip: the general rule of thumb as far as purchasing papers goes - 2 per household member).  OH!! I now also have a coupon fairy.  A good friend, Kayla, saves all the coupons from the Sunday papers that her store will just toss in the trash,  so I can get anywhere from 2 sets to 6 sets of extra coupons every week!  This is such a great help when there are  great coupons out there.  And speaking of great coupons, I have a few that I am planning on using as soon as Walmart gets my order in, and they actually called to tell me that they will have what I need on November 10th.  I'm SOO excited to see if this will actually work out for me.  I have never placed a "pre-order" at any store,  I have always just gone with my Q's and hope to get lucky enough that the store will still have the quantity I want.  Well,  this time I want 20, so I pre-ordered.  That way,  I get what I want and am not clearing any store shelves.  If everything works out as planned,  I won't break any of the unwritten couponing etiquette rules, store policies or manufacturer coupon redemption policies, and I will have 20 more free items to add to my stockpile.  I am going to try and take some pictures of all the items I have accumulated over the past 9 months, so perhaps that will be my quest - to get stockpile pics up here.  Happy Couponing!
